And the past participle of the lexic verb.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>*The subject of the active sentence will be the agent complement in the passive sentence; the complement of the active sentence will be the subject in the passive sentence.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>For example; Cervantes wrote Don Quixote.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Don Quixote was written by Cervantes.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>-wrote = past simple.<\/p>\n<p>To be in the past simple: was.<\/p>\n<p>Past participle of write: written.<\/p>\n<p>-agent complement:<\/p>\n<p>it\u00b4s always introduced by the preposition \u201cby\u201d, followed by the<\/p>\n<p>complement.<\/p>\n<p>If the complement is a pronoun, it will be: me \/you \/him \/her \/us<\/p>\n<p>them.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>*There are some sentences with two complements (also called objects).
